Cohere Gathering Features 2019
Pumpkin Hollow Disc Golf Tournament
The first ever disc golf tournament at the amazing new course in Pumpkin Hollow will be held at Cohere beginning Saturday morning, October 5. Registration is required, but you are not required to be a pro—All levels are encouraged to participate. There will be lots of prizes and disc give-aways, plus FREE admission to all Cohere festivities, including free camping! $35 for 2 rounds of 13 holes. Directly following the golf will be live music and other festivities. This is by far the smartest way to get admission to Cohere and there are only 44 spots so register now right here:
Rainbow Lightning Youth Village
We are delighted to have Rainbow Lightning back to Cohere 2019. Rainbow Lightning creates interactive and collaborative environments for kids of all ages and their parents to connect and play with one another. By building community around new ideas and collaborative projects, Rainbow Lightning is designed to re-connect each individual with their inner child, reminding all who participate just how good it feels to let your true self shine.
The crew at Rainbow Lightning are dedicated to holding space for youth and our future leaders, empowering self-expression through art, music, nature, and Love!
Pumpkin Hollow is situated on the North Fork of the Gunnison River with a variety of plant and animal life and makes for ideal camping. We have multiple camping areas (including quieter camping by the river) and we have an epic fire pit for gathering and sharing stories under the stars.
Please remember to leave your dogs at home and to pack out your trash. Thank you!
Starwater are a community of engaged activists, artists, and revolutionaries who are devoted to bringing Sacred Celebration into the forefront of our Artistic Family. The StarWater Collective hosts a weekly event featuring Open Mind Open Mic as well as rotating up-and-coming talent from across the nation.
Fire Dancing and African Drumming
Since 2013, some of the roaring fork and north fork valleys’ finest fire dancers and African drummers have been a part of Cohere Gathering. This year, we anticipate another transcendent experience Saturday night.
